Connect ZTE modem to Mac OS X Lion

Hello techno lovers. Through this post I wanna share you how to connect ZTE modem to Mac OS X Lion. We all already know that the default kernel boot for Lion is 64 bits. Because the modem driver little bit outdated, some of you might try booting to the 32 bits kernel, if you want to run in this way, follow these steps bellow:
Connect ZTE modem to Mac OS X Lion
Boot your Mac, press number “3” and “2” in your keyboard immediately and hold it until you see the log in page (Apple logo). Hope in this 32 bits mode your ZTE modem works properly.

Hopefully it helps for you, or... you can try using the modem driver from Vodafone. Click here to download the Vodafone' driver. This driver is available in versions 32 and 64 bits. This Vodafone’ driver can also run well on ZTE MF626 and I hope the driver will work perfectly for other ZTE modem.

Note:
  1. Do not use the Vodafone interface, but do it manually using the Network Preferences. Just set up a new connection and fill the necessary information.
  2. If the Vodafone’ driver is not able to help your ZTE modem, come back to use the first step.
That's all how to connect ZTE modem to your Mac OS X Lion. Give me your feedback.
