Ubuntu Application Launcher: GNOME Pie

There are many application launchers from a third party, such as Synapse, Launchy, and Do. Looks like the list will grow with the inclusion of another launcher app, GNOME Pie.
Ubuntu Application Launcher: GNOME Pie
GNOME Pie is a Ubuntu application launcher that works based on the combination of a keyboard (fully customizable). You press a keyboard combination and a “Pie" will appear (circular animation launcher). Click one app’s shortcut within the Pie to launch an app. These shortcuts are named "Slices".

GNOME Pie can also be used to restart or log out computer, access favorite folder, and control media playback like Totem. The difference between GNOME Pie and Synapse is the lack of access to documents or the "semantic" from the GNOME Pie.
Some preferences options of GNOME Pie are the ability to setting some app to start at log-in and choosing to show or hide its indicator applet in the Ubuntu panel. You can modify the “Pies” and the “Slices” to meet your needs such as add your favorite apps to the launcher and remove those you don’t like.

When running, GNOME Pie takes no more than 50MB of your memory. For comparison, Docky uses resources around 22MB. To install the GNOME Pie, type these commands in your Terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:simonschneegans/testing
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gnome-pie
That's all about new Ubuntu Apps launcher, GNOME Pie. Hope it useful :).
