Auto Restart Feature in OS X Lion

Auto Restart feature in OS X Lion can help you to recover from freezes or crashes in your Mac. This is almost the same way when you enable the feature “Start up automatically after a power failure”. Follow these steps below:
  • Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Energy Saver.
  • Add a check mark to the “Restart automatically if the computer freezes” checkbox.
If this does not work, maybe you can use the usual way I do with Microsoft Windows by pressing the power button for less than 4 seconds to make it shutdown when it freezes :). That's all how to activate auto restart in OS X when it crashed.
