Youtube to mp3 in Easy Way

If you want to change from Youtube to mp3, then I recommend you to use utube2mp3. It will help you to extract mp3 files from Youtube. Oops, I forgot. This small utility works in Ubuntu environment.

Firstly, you should download the utube2mp3 binary, make it executable, and create shortcuts on the Desktop (optional). Go to Terminal and type the following command:

cd ~/Downloads
wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/utube2mp3/files/utube2mp3_0.1.2/utube2mp3_linux_x86.tar.gz/download
tar -xvzf utube2mp3_linux_x86.tar.gz
chmod +x utube2mp3
ln -s ~/Downloads/utube2mp3 ~/Desktop/utube2mp3

Run the utube2mp3 which has been made as executable, then copy/paste the url of the YouTube videos you want to make the mp3, for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9TGj2jrJk8 (Led Zeppelin — Stairway to Heaven) and the last press”Get mp3!” button. You will be asked where to save the conversion results from Youtube to mp3 and once the download process has finished you’ll see the mp3 files there.
